Community Outreach Ministry

Mission Statement: The mission of the Community Outreach Ministry is to fulfill the Gospel mandate to support and help those among us in need by providing resources, financial assistance and advocacy with respect, patience and compassion.

 

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothe me, I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came to me.” Matthew 25:32-33

Communications Ministry

Mission Statement: The mission of the Communications Ministry is to maximize, expand and accelerate the effectiveness and value of all external and parish-wide communications by ensuring that all such communications are consistent in quality, style and spirit while embracing the guiding principles of our Catholic faith.

 

“Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him”. Colossians 3:17

Buildings and Grounds Ministry

Mission statement: The mission of the Buildings and Grounds Ministry is to develop and maintain a physical plant and property grounds (e.g., the Church; School; Convents; Rectory) that are functionally efficient, clean, attractive, safe and operational. We will effectively provide for and promote the mission of the Church and School, while sustaining the health and safety of its users and the spiritual needs of the faithful.

Spiritual Life Ministry

Mission Statement: Guided by the Holy Spirit and building upon the mystical tradition of the Catholic Church, the Spiritual Life Ministry seeks to deepen both individually and communally the spiritual life of our parish family through liturgical, educational, social and service experiences.

 

“Again I say to you, if two of you agree in earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them”.  Matthew 18:19-20

Faith Formation Ministry

Mission Statement: The mission of the Faith Formation Ministry is to build community by growing in our faith, strengthening family bonds, and promoting social justice.

 

We actively live in peace as we: celebrate our faith through worship and sacramental preparation, provide education for children, teens, adults and families, and share our gifts through public witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

“Pay attention to what you are taught and you will be successful: trust in the Lord and you will be happy.”  (Proverbs 16:20)

Social Ministry

Mission statement: The mission of the Social Ministry is to plan and provide social events for the parish throughout the year that allow members the opportunity to meet with and enjoy the company of others, as well as to build a strong parish family.

 

“Then I shall come to you, if God wills, for a happy time of relaxation in your company.”   (Isaiah 52:15)

Pro-Life Ministry

Mission Statement: The mission of the Pro-Life Ministry is to proclaim and support the fundamental right to life from conception to natural death by prayer, education, pastoral care, advocacy, and participation in pro-life activities and service with charity and compassion.

 

“I have set before you life and death…Choose life, then, that you and your descendents may live.” (Deut 30:19b)

“Share the Spirit” Gift Shop

Mission Statement: The mission of the “Share the Spirit” Gift Shop is to support the evangelization efforts of the parish and diocese by conveniently and inexpensively providing a wide selection of Catholic merchandise.

Evangelization Ministry

Mission Statement: In response to our Lord’s command, and placing our trust in the Holy Spirit, we will proclaim with joy, charity and compassion the truth that God is love and Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of all. This will be achieved by various means of inviting, welcoming, seeking, listening, loving and praying.

 

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Mt. 28:19-20)

Stewardship Ministry

Mission Statement: We are a people of faith in service to the Lord, and thankful for all the gifts our Heavenly Father has given us. We work together empowered by the Holy Spirit to generously share our time, talent and treasures, in order to bring Jesus’ transforming Presence to our Parish and our world.

 

We will foster discipleship, encouraging parishioners to develop a closer relationship with Jesus. We will create a spirit of self giving that permeates all aspects of parish life and ministry. We will present opportunities to learn, grow, and live as faithful disciples generously giving of themselves.

 

“As each one has received a gift, use if to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace”. (1Pt 4:10)

Youth Ministry

Mission Statement: The mission of Youth Ministry is to provide our youth and their families with opportunities to grow in their Catholic faith. Working together in a fun, accepting, and positive environment, we will encourage our youth to develop and use their unique talents in the life, work and mission of our parish

 

Jumping for Jesus Youth Group (grades 2-5) meets on Tuesday evenings at 5:30. Please see Parish Calendar for the monthly dates.

 

Chair: Rachael Czepyha

 

Junior Youth Group (children in grades 6-8) and Senior Youth Group (for teens in grades 9-12).

Both groups foster faith, Christian values, teamwork, socialization, leadership, and community service.
